PHARMAGORA S.A was established in 1941 as a Pharmaceutical Wholesale Distribution Company, located in Thessaloniki, Greece. The company is engaged in the trade of all licensed branded Pharmaceuticals, Parapharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, OTC and Diagnostic products. Our core activities include procuring, preserving, handling, supplying, distributing, importing and exporting medicinal products for human use.

During the last 20 years, PHARMAGORA S.A has proceeded into the European pharmaceutical market, with significant parallel intrusion into the Balkans, Asia, Africa and Middle East Countries. Nowadays, PHARMAGORA has evolved to become one of the leading Greek exporters within the European market, prevalent in more than forty countries, profoundly conversant with exporting regulations and in hold of essential procedural knowledge and expertise.

On a national basis, Pharmagora currently supplies more than 5000 pharmacies, geographically covering above 95% of the domestic market. In order to provide optimum delivery options to domestic and international clients, Pharmagora SA has incorporated United Freight Services S.A, a freight forwarding company that ensures industry leading service levels and competitive freight rates.

In addition, the company controls its own production plant through its affiliate company SANTE. The product list of SANTE consists of a wide range of wound care products, electronic medical equipment, orthopaedics and skin care products. All SANTE product lines, along with numerous imported Para pharmaceutical products, are introduced into the Greek market through PHARMAGORA’s Marketing Department and consistently reinforced by its own sales force.

Since October 2001, PHARMAGORA has been granted certification against ISO 9001:2000 by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance that is annually renewed under the terms set out by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service. The LRQA Quality Management System Certificate offers a lucid demonstration of our commitment to quality and is applicable to the Wholesale Distribution of Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Consumable Medical Materials, Dressing Bandages and Para pharmaceuticals, according to EU Directives EC 94/C63/03, EEC 93/42 and EEC 92/25.

Indicatively, PHARMAGORA participates as an active member in the following organizations: Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Thessaloniki, Exporters' Association of Northern Greece, Federation of Industries of Northern Greece, American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, European Association of Euro-Pharmaceutical Companies.
